Could Alex Jones be wrong about the Rapture, of course ...

and it is highly likely that he is, considering the following.

(I am no Laodicean and I take umbrage with those who falsely lump serious students of Scripture with folk who clearly don't take Scripture seriously, let alone read it.  I don't attend a NWO church.  I defy folk to prove Scripturally, that Rapture is not sound doctrine.)

Y' see, there is no one check verse for any doctrine.  By two shall it be established.  Scripture validates Scripture.  No, not circular reasoning.
Rather reasoning that different folk at different times confirmed the same reality, knowing. Hence, there is no one rapture verse, rather there are several.
Review the table at the bottom and see the disparate verses correlating to the Rapture and Second Coming respectively.

1. According to AJ, any five year old can read Scripture and
understand the saints are raptured at the End of Revelation (The Great Tribulation).
Yet, his 10 year old son had to correct him regarding the history of Cain/Abel and Jacob/Esau, which he confused.
Is it possible Jones has confused the disparate Rapture/Second Coming verses.  Of course.  What happens when universal deceit plays out culture wide globally? Lawlessness ensues. So, convincing folk that the trespassers are indeed trespassing becomes an impossibly no matter how many articles, research, documentaries one can produce. Which is exactly the logic Jones uses to not discuss Scripture.  Couple that with the anger that often ensues regarding discussion of the rapture which Jones ties to the Laodicean church. (It's like the fallacy of believing the the Roman Catholic Church is the earthly representative of God. Totally unscriptural. Nether Scripture nor History confirm this fallacy.) I'd like to see Jones rapture rant to Grant Jeffery, who has shown the rapture doctrine to be valid, believed, and taught all the way back through history to the early church.  Or to Chuck Missler (The Singularity Is Near.), who dissects Scripture, like no other, as any engineer would do, demonstrating the intricate design God has woven into the fabric of His Word.

2."We have no idea where we are in God's plan," says Alex Jones.  Then what is the purpose of Scripture and voluminous warnings to watch and be on guard regarding signs and times of the End?

I am still listening to Alex (because I believe his approach is well thought out; listen in at approx. 1 3/4,hrs in, on Dec 5, 2012), but I'd be more more confident about his philosophy if he put equal time in to studying Scripture as he does studying the enemy, the Luciferian NWO. Reading the Bible end to end once doesn't cut it. Serious continued expositional study is required.
