Notice an up-tick in global earthquakes as of late?

Mat 24:7 For nation [ethno] shall rise against nation [ethno], and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows 

[birth pangs].

1) the pain of childbirth, travail pain, birth pangs

2) intolerable anguish, in reference to the dire calamities precede the advent of the Messiah
